Poochons are known for their sweet, affectionate, and loving personalities. They are social little companions who love being close to their people and often thrive when they can be part of everyday family life. They tend to be playful, intelligent, cuddly, and eager to please, making them wonderful companions for individuals, couples, and families.
One of the things we love most about our Poochons is their ability to form such a special bond with their families. Whether they’re joining you for an adventure, playing with the kids, or simply curled up beside you on the couch, they truly love being your little sidekick.
How it starts
So You're Dreaming of a Puppy!
Every great adventure begins with a dream! If you'd love to welcome one of our wonderful puppies into your home, the first step is to fill out our Adoption Application so we can start getting to know you.
After we've received and reviewed your application, we'll arrange a brief interview with you. Following that conversation, we'll let you know your position on our waiting list.
We are dedicated to raising healthy puppies in a humane and caring way, which means there is often a wait. We encourage you to use this time to learn all you can about the breed and to prepare your household for the joy and responsibility of a new family member!

Meet & Greet
Puppy Time
When you feel ready to bring home your new companion, simply submit your application. Once it has been reviewed and approved, a non-refundable reservation fee of $500 is required, payable by e-transfer. This fee holds your spot on our waiting list.
While you wait for your Poochon Paws puppy, we'll keep in touch with you along the way. Once your puppy has been born, we'll send you an email outlining the next steps and what you can expect in the weeks leading up to bringing your puppy home.
When the puppies are four weeks old, we'll reach out to learn more about your lifestyle, your family's personalities, and what you're hoping for in your new puppy. Together with your original application, these details help us find the perfect match for your family.
At this time we will book your family in for your meet and greet.

When the puppies are between 5 and 6 weeks old, we'll host a "Meet the Puppies Day ", either in person or over Zoom. You'll receive a scheduled date and time for your family to meet the litter and ask any questions you may have.
At 8 weeks old, the wait is finally over and your puppy is ready to head home! We'll provide you with a pick-up date and time to come welcome your newest family member!
If your puppy needs to stay with us a little longer because of travel plans or a later pick-up date, a fee of $20 per day will apply.
If we're unable to provide you with a puppy, or if the timing doesn't work for you when a puppy becomes available, you're welcome to move to a future litter or wait until the timing is right. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be due at pick.
