HEALTH GUARANTEE & CARE AGREEMENT
The Seller provides a one (1) year health guarantee from the Puppy’s date of birth against serious hereditary or congenital conditions. The Seller guarantees that, at the time of sale, the Puppy is in good health and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. All veterinary records will be provided, and the Seller will disclose any known health concerns prior to sale.
This Puppy is sold as pet quality only and is covered under a strict Non-Breeding Agreement. The Buyer agrees to have the Puppy spayed or neutered between six (6) months and twelve (12) months of age, at the Buyer’s expense. Written proof from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to the Seller. If the Puppy is bred or if the Buyer fails to have the Puppy spayed/neutered, the Buyer agrees to pay the Seller an additional $3,000 above the purchase price, and the Health Guarantee becomes null and void.
The Buyer agrees to provide proper lifelong care for the Puppy, including routine veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, quality food, fresh water, exercise, training, and appropriate shelter. The Puppy is not purchased for resale. If the Buyer becomes unable to care for the Puppy, no refunds will be given. The Buyer must either return the Puppy to the Seller or allow the Seller to assist in placing the Puppy in an approved home.
If, within one (1) year of the Puppy’s birthdate, the Puppy is diagnosed with a serious hereditary or congenital defect, the Buyer must provide all relevant veterinary documentation from a licensed veterinarian within ninety-six (96) hours of diagnosis. The Seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of the Seller’s choice at the Buyer’s expense. If the condition is confirmed to be hereditary or congenital, the Buyer may return the Puppy for a replacement Puppy from the next available litter. No monetary refunds will be issued. The Seller does not replace Puppies for conditions caused by accident, illness, neglect, injury, or improper care.
If a Puppy should pass away within one (1) year of birth due to a suspected congenital defect, an autopsy performed by a licensed veterinarian (at the Buyer’s expense) is required. If a congenital cause of death is confirmed, a replacement Puppy will be provided. If results are inconclusive or undetermined, the guarantee is void.
The Health Guarantee does not cover conditions considered common or non-life-threatening, including but not limited to: ear infections, skin or food allergies, environmental allergies, parasites, giardia, coccidia, kennel cough, mild heart murmurs, dental issues, misaligned teeth, hernias, collapsed trachea, or conditions that are treatable. The Seller also does not guarantee size, weight, colour, coat type, or temperament.
